The Megger PVM210 irradiance meter provides the solar/photovoltaic technician a compact, pocket size instrument that is easy to use. The meter allows the determination of the optimal incident angle and positioning of solar panels. Together with a suitable ammeter this instrument provides the key measurement of solar power for panel short circuit calculation. Single handed operation is possible because the solar detector and meter are housed in one unit. This feature is ideal when using the meter on a sloping roof or at the top of a ladder.
