The PVK330 photovoltaic kit with AC/DC clamp multimeter is aimed at the solar photovoltaic installer and is supplied with an irradiance meter, a clamp multimeter, a set of specialist solar test leads and a PVkit storage pouch.
The Megger PVM210 irradiance meter provides the solar/photovoltaic technician a compact, pocket size instrument that is easy to use. The meter allows the determination of the optimal incident angle and positioning of solar panels. Together with a suitable ammeter this instrument provides the key measurement of solar power for panel short circuit calculation. Single handed operation is possible because the solar detector and meter are housed in one unit. This feature is ideal when using the meter on a sloping roof or at the top of a ladder. The Megger DCM340 AC/DC clamp multimeter is a highly versatile instrument and ideal for use in the installation, maintenance or monitoring of AC/DC systems and equipment. The DCM340 is safety rated to IEC 61010-1 Cat III 600 V and is drop-tested to 1.2m onto a hard floor. It is supplied with test leads, a carry case and a full 1-year manufacturers warranty.
