The Chauvin Arnoux PAC12 current clamp is designed to sense the current in a conductor and convert that to a proportional voltage for use with an oscilloscope, multimeter or other measuring instrument. It is capable of measuring DC currents up to 600A and AC up to 400A RMS and is still sensitve enough to measure currents as low as 200mA.
