This EA-EL 9000 HP electronic load 0-100A 0-160V DC from EA Elektro-Automatik puts an end to battery and power supply testing via resistant loads, as the electronic loads can now dynamically test - in dynamic operation, the microcontroller switches between two values A and B, according to the adjusted pulse width and duty cycle.

The four common regulation modes constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP) and constant resistance (CR) can also be used in any combination with the three operation modes A, B and A/B.

Constant U/I/P/R, sawtooth, trapezium and square waves, adjustable flanks and pulse/break ratios, extremely fast regulation values (50 µs 10…90%), battery testing mode, two-line dot display, System Bus terminal and analogue interface make this microcontroller an ideal testing device for laboratories, testing facilities and burn-in applications.

This particular HP version provides a high performance cooler and blower. At maximum input power, thermal derating of the load commences at an ambient temperature of 40°C, giving the EL 9000 HP verison an approximate 118% higher performance than the EL 9000 series.
