The Testboy 72 is a Coating Thickness Meter with a Combi-Probe. The thickness meter is distinguished by its high-degree of measuring precision as well as its indisputably easy and safe handling characteristics. It has a robust plastic housing that is UV resistant, and sealed to protect against splashing water.
It measures the thickness of all non-magnetic coatings on steel or iron such as paintwork, enamel, chrome, copper, zinc and so forth. It also measures the thickness of all insulating coatings such as paints, plastics, enamels on non-magnetic metal substrates (e.g. on aluminium, copper, brass). The combi-probe adapts automatically to the different material types of substrate.
The integrated measured-value memory stores the last 10 measurement values. The swivel display ensures that measurements can also be taken under the most difficult of conditions. The Testboy 72 is particularly suitable for use in car repair workshops to examine motor vehicles for signs of previous accident damage.
