The Novatek MSK-301-8 is designed to control freezers, refrigerated counters and other refrigerated shop and industrial equipment by switching 1 or 2 compressors or fans on or off according to the temperature range selected. Depending on the temperature difference between the refrigerating chamber and fan air stream the relay can be programmed to start an automatic defrost cycle.
If fitted with a suitable PTC- or NTC-type temperature sensor, the MSK-301-8 can perform protective compressor shutdown if a user-defined temperature range is detected.
In addition, the MSK-301-8 provides safety compressor and fan stop under abnormal mains supply parameters. The unit performs monitoring of RMS phase voltage and line voltage, phase imbalance and correct phase sequence before and after compressor switch-on. It can automatically restart the compressors and fans when voltage parameters return to normal after user-set time delay has expired.
