10 December 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 80-0312
Q. What is the maximum current which can be switched at 12v DC?
A. Hi Graeme. Thank you for your question. There is no sliding scale of Current versus Voltage for the contact rating available for this product – but logic would suggest that the total power at maximum ratings should not be exceeded – so at 12VDC this would permit 50mA. However if it can be kept to 25mA this would be safer.

Fantastic, not stiff, also good for breadboard!

These switches are easy to push to change position. They are also fantastic for using on breadboard to jump across multiple tracks.
