Design duo Storm Thorgerson Aubrey Powell better known by their collective name Hipgnosis are renowned in the music world for creating iconic cover art for rock and roll greats. From Pink Floyd to Paul McCartney, Hipgnosis have been behind some of the most well know and well loved album artworks, shaping the aesthetic of the music industry since the late 1960s. This new series of limited editions brings the images back to life as archival inkjet prints, each one in beautiful, never before seen, clarity. ‘Bloody Tourists 10cc’ is a reprint of the 1978 10cc album of the same name. The print depicts the typical tourist flamboyant shirt, camera around the neck standing in a sun kissed Caribbean bay, his face obscured by a large map.
