Andrew Carter – former Jealous Prize winner who has worked on numerous editions with Jealous since his successful win. In this particular piece Carter ‘wanted to revisit a linocut print that I showed at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition’. The tree in this piece is a pollarded willow tree, near John Constable’s home at Flatford Mill in Suffolk. The colours focus on a theme of yellow, through to green and grey and heightened In colour creating a piece that is ‘geometric I explored the process of constructing an image and the visual and emotional recognition of that particular place’. This piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
