Graphic artist and illustrator Fieldinspired creates prints that fuse hand drawn elements with digital processes for a striking aesthetic. Each print consists of a minimum of 80 different layers, built one upon the other from the centre of the canvas to create depth and extraordinary detail. His latest collection has been inspired by a trip to South East Asia awestruck by the breathtaking beauty of the natural world, Fieldinspired has put his stamp on the some of the planet’s most beautiful creatures. ‘Emperor Stag’ depicts the majestic head of a stag in shades of soft turquoise and burnt orange against in inky black background. The piece is compositionally powerful, with the stag’s imposing antlers arced in perfect symmetry to create balance and harmony, while painstaking detail has gone into the image, which is made up of tiny, intricate lines and strokes. Fieldinspired’s reverence for the natural world translates exquisitely to the canvas, in this compelling fusion of geometry and animality.
