Brighton based artist Fox is passionate about print making. Working across processes and mediums, combining hand drawn elements with digital techniques, and mixing up materials, Fox’s work continually surprises, shifting between styles and inspirations but always with strong visual impact at the forefront. ‘KIN’ depicts Karl Kin, a dapper gentleman, whose beard is a mass of flowing feathers, and whose pipe puffs out a flock of tiny birds. Using collage techniques, Fox emphasises the transient and transcendent nature of his fictional character, who crosses time and space boundaries with artistic fluidity. Thoughtful and striking, ‘KIN’ is a stunning piece of contemporary print work.
