The resistor is constructed using a high quality resistance wire that is wound on a ceramic core encased in a flameproof Centohmreg coating. To maximise performance the resistor has been carefully engineered with non magnetic materials that eliminate the effects of stray magnetic fields on circuit performance, simplifying shielding requirements and improving sound quality. Also suitable for use in cross over networks and as source, emitter, or cathode resistors in balancing applications for output transducers.
