The Perrin family have been making wine for four centuries at their rural idyll near Ternand in southern Beaujolais. Their vineyards scene of a medieval conflict involving 1000 men spread out in a south facing amphitheatre of flaking granite. Bernard Perrin remains modest despite his wines often being voted 'Best of the Vintage'.
