The kit includes a smart plug, motion sensor and monitor. It simply connects to your WiFi without the need to setup using a PC. You can simply download the mydlink home app, and the step by step wizard helps to you set up all the devices within the kit. There's no fees or subscriptions, so you won't need to fork out every month, and there's no installation required. Control your devices via smartphone app With the mydlink home app, you'll be able to set up rules and alerts for your devices so you'll always know what's going on at home. You can be alerted if the door or window is opened, or you can connect to other mydlink home smart devices, letting you set rules for example, you can set a smart plug to switch on a light if the sensor detects movement. Keep an eye on your home You can view your home securely no matter where you are thanks to the Monitor HD. It lets you view your home in 720p high definition so you'll be able to see everything in detail, and night vision lets you see up to 5 m even in the darkness. You can also zoom, letting you see exactly what's going on. You'll recieve a push notification whenever motion or sound is detected in your home, so you'll immediately be aware of anything going on. The motion detection uses passive infrared PIR which helps to only alert you when needed. The motion sensor can detect movement up to 8 m away, and you'll be notified so you can check what's going on.
