Puck’s work finds inspiration in pop art, street and graffiti art and the graphic arts and by becoming an anonymous artist allows him the free from to produce works exactly how he wants. Puck tries to see things from new perspectives and invite new ways that he can make popular and contemporary culture into art – for example the ways in which advertising and branding is focused upon us. ‘Damask – 1’ see’s Puck take on various brands and logos and turn them into new meanings and states ‘you advertise at me… I’ll advertise at you!’ This piece sees him combine international German brand Adidas, French Fashion brand Chanel and American Sports brand Nike in creating a visually appealing, fun and distinctive piece of work. ‘Damask 1 – Gold on Black’ is signed and numbered by the artist.
