‘Mini Bigger Splash 2016’ was originally produced in 1967 by the iconic David Hockney in which he depicts a splash in fictional Californian swimming pool. By not having a specific location for the pool, we see Nick Smith speculate with numerous Californian towns and district names marked up under each individual color block making for some interesting close up geographical reading. ‘Bigger Splash 2016’ is signed, numbered and embossed by the artist.
