The SCD560 uses DECT technology to guarantee zero interference from any other signalling or transmitting device including phones, Wi fi router and mobile phones. The parent unit of the SCD560 has a small LCD screen that displays all relevant information including temperature, battery level, signal strength and what features are turned on and off. The parent unit houses a small lithium battery that gives up to 18 hours of charge and it has also has an eco mode to shut of the screen when no sound is detected by the voice activation VOX sensors. To display temperature the baby unit has a built in thermometer to read the ambient room temperature, the baby unit also features a remote controlled nightlight activated by the parent unit, remote activated lullabies as well as a paging button if the parent monitor is lost.
