The Avent SCD570 uses DECT technology for crystal clear interference free monitoring, the DECT technology also ensures the range of the monitor exceeds 300 meters. The parent receiver of the 570 has a large LCD screen that displays information such as the room temperature, the signal strength the battery life and what settings you have active such as the vibration alert. The receiver unit also has an easy to use menu and control buttons allowing you to control the volume and other settings such as the remote controlled night light. The baby has a high sensitivity microphone that will pick up even the quietest sounds, the microphone also combines with the speaker or two way communications allowing you to talk to your baby through the monitor, the voice activation sensors will also alert you to any noise within the bedroom. The baby unit also has features to help soothe your baby if they stir, these included a built in remote night light and lullabies activated by eithernbsp of the two units, there is also a temperature sensor that will alert you on the parent receiver if the temperature drops or rises above or below pre set limits.
