The Kiss is a high quality print is of Austrian Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt’s celebrated oil and gold leaf on canvas masterpiece ‘The Kiss’ painted between 1907 and 1908. The work is considered the high point of Klimt’s ‘Golden Period’ and depicts a couple embracing, their bodies entwined in elaborate robes. It has been suggested the lovers are none other than Klimt and his long time partner, fashion designer Emilie Flöge, who he had previously depicted in a portrait.
