The Sanz siblings, Marco, Richard and Alejandra have five generations of winemakers behind them. They embarked on this organic project back in 2005. Marco looks after the vineyards, Richard, who has worked in wineries in Chile, Hungary and France is the winemaker, while sister Alejandra looks after the commercial side of the family business. The family have been inextricably linked with the making of Basa for our old friend Telmo Rodriguez, and their beautifully crafted crisp, citrus, white blossom and stone fruit Verdejo is a pip off the old block.
