The original lino cut print of this image was chosen by the Royal Academy for their Summer Exhibition 2015. The simple shapes and paired down pallet of Indian Yellow Orange Lake Extra and Warm Grey Light give a great sense of both dramatic light and movement. It captures a row of road racing cyclists and their shadows snaking along in the late afternoon sun.
