It really does work as the vanilla and cinnamon tones of the wood compliment the tropical fruitiness of the unwooded component. This wine exhibits great intensity of flavour without too much weight. It is impressive in its development of complex taste layers built around spiced apple and citrus with a peachy creamy ending in a long graceful finish.
