Tour du Haut Moulin is situated in Cussac Fort, between Margaux and St Julien, in the heart of Haut Médoc. It has been owned by the Poitou family since 1870 and is now in the 6th generation of family ownership. It has 28 hectares of vines on Garonne gravel soils. Now showing a good degree of maturity with its deep garnet colour, mellow bramble fruit and gentle notes of cedar and dark spice. Ripe tannins and soft fruit flavour provide a harmonious mouthfeel. Drinking well now. Great with a cheese board.
