D shaped mats like this were originally intended for the busiest place in every household in front of the kitchen range. Ours still looks wonderful by an Aga but is equally useful in any other heavy footfall area such as by the sink or a food prep worktop. Made from polypropylene with a flat woven sisal look, it will withstand years of hard wear. The pile doesnt embed dust and debris and is cleaned easily by sponging or shampooing. All edges are fully bound so they lie flat and dont create a trip hazard.
