Manufactured from a high performance material bonded to the inside of a steel sleeve, which on exposure to heat from a fire will rapidly expand inwards to squeeze the collapsing plastic pipe until the aperture is completely sealed. Light and compact, easy to install, maintenance free. Suitable for use in multi storey office buildings, multi level developments, hospitals and hotels, and wherever plastic soil and waste pipes pass through fire compartment walls and floors. Pipe collars are tested to EN1366 3, can provide up to 4 hours resistance for UPVC, ABS, MDPE, HDPE. Complies with Building Regulation Approved Document B3.
