Fleurie Poncereau is fruity as well as floral. It is mellow and elegant but also a racy wine. It has a silky texture and finesse. Full, ripe red fruits are balanced by a supple freshness and acidity on the palate with a long finish. 100% Gamay. The Fleurie 'Poncereau' is vinified like all the wines from this region semi carbonic maceration of uncrushed grape clusters with pumping over of the cap. It is then aged in oak barrels for 8 10 months before bottling.
