Colour Ruby colour. Nose Elegant and powerful nose, aromas of strawberry jam, and pepper. Palate The attack is floral, tannic and spicy. Serve with all grilled or roast meats. Ox braised, Stew, Civets. Cheese. Soil Sandstone and rocky alluvions. This terroir gives great elegance and subtlety. The vineyard is situated between Orange and the Mont Ventoux, on the left bank of the Rhone. Harvest Hand harvesting at maturity. Vinification This Gigondas is vinified in the traditional way with daily pumping over. Maturing Part of the wine ages in oak casks the other part in vats. Bottling after 12 to 16 months of maturing.
