This high quality print is of Vladimir Tretchikoff’s widely admired ‘Chinese Girl’, a 1950 painting of a Chinese girl in a traditional Chinese tunic. The girl’s unusual blue green skin tone gives the painting its popular name ‘The Green Lady’. Tretchikoff claimed his subject was a woman he met in San Francisco, but this has since been disputed with several women claiming to be the infamous ‘Chinese girl’.
