Anonymous artist Non Conformist works at the cutting edge of contemporary print making, producing pieces that push at the boundaries of art. Taking found objects often with a consumerist element Non Conformist questions our aesthetic sensibilities with a staunch refusal to conform to the expectations of twenty first century visual art. ‘Conundrum Dare To Destroy’ is a semi interactive piece of print work, inspired by the British code breaking team at Bletchley Park who, during WWII, cracked the Enigma code. Featuring incomprehensible layers of text from hand written mathematical jottings, to typewritten reams of lettering each print features foil scratch card sections and the option to customise the work with a series of destructive forces, from burns to tears, to folds, ink traces and distressing.
