Darker and less fruity than other Ports, Dow's Midnight Port proves to be exceptionally versatile and very good value for money. I believe the dryness makes it a perfect accompaniment to the creamer French cheeses such as Brie and Camembert. Dow's has re launched its Midnight Port with a completely new, challenging and elegant presentation. The style of the wine is also different. The new Midnight cannot conceivably be seen as an old fashioned and traditional wine. This wine is radical enough to appeal to new customers and the elegant, streamline presentation is an exciting move away from traditional Port design.
