‘Gabrielle – Sunrise’ is Copyright's latest take on the his previous sell out 'Gabrielle' release back in 2013. This piece depicts a portrait of the arch angel Gabriel. This biblical angel has been a subject for artist since the early 10th century but Copyright has given it his contemporary twist as well as the addition of the exquisite, outstretched, gold leaf wings .The piece follows on from a series of angel paintings that Copyright has done in the past couple of years. The series, inspired by the proliferation of angels in Renaissance art, has revived these classical subjects in Copyrights distinctive urban style. ‘Gabrielle – Sunrise’ is signed and numbered by the artist.
