To create this image Magnus first built a virtual 3D base of the grenade shape outlining it in illustrator, and then meticulously shadowing and highlighting in Photoshop. The image of the Assumption of Virgin Mary into Heaven crowned by two angels has then been carefully moulded to fit the base. It is a giclee print on Enhanced matt 189 gsm art paper and part of a signed limited edition of 200.
