Bring any wall to life with our magnificent wall hanging created exclusively for us in a limited edition of just 200 pieces. Each one is a unique piece of art, individually embroidered by hand and highly collectable. The classic crewelwork design is inspired by the floral tree of life motifs that appeared on palampores bed covers and other Indian textiles from the 17th century onwards.Using traditional techniques, our wall hangings are embroidered in two ply wool on a cotton handloom base using a hook needle. Reflecting their heritage, they are made in India in the villages surrounding the city of Srinagar in the Vale of Kashmir. Each one promises to become a heirloom piece for generations to enjoy. The hanging is supplied with a polished solid brass hanging pole complete with decorative finials and wall brackets. Simply slip it through the sleeve sewn into the cotton lining to hang.
