‘Jim Morrison II’ is an incredible piece by influential artist David Studwell, who combines traditional printmaking techniques with iconic images of timeless stars, and, taking inspiration from the Pop Art movement, creates incredible works of art. This print is a mugshot of Jim Morrison in 1970, the year before his untimely death, having been arrested for a felony charge of lewd and lascivious behaviour and five misdemeanours two counts of indecent exposure, two of public profanity and one of public drunkenness. This piece has been printed using the halftone line effect in a stunning electric blue.
