Marilyn 5 is a hand printed silkscreen limited edition. The number ‘5’ relates to Marilyn Monroe’s death at her Los Angeles home on the 5th of August in 1962, as well as her iconic status as the face of Chanel no.5 perfume. It has been created by overlaying screens with portraits of Monroe’s internationally recognisable image. The smaller film stills and larger quirky blue portrait combine to create a visually stimulating homage to the timeless queen of glamour.
