Plectrum medium Yamaha 04 blue on white is a signed limited edition of 50 by Partick Thomas of a Yamaha guitar plectrum. Patrick Thomas was inspired to create this series of prints of guitar plectrums during a recent trip to a guitar shop in Hamburg round the corner from the Star Club where the Beatles and other 1960’s guitar bands played. With a pocket full of plectrums memories of playing in bands in his youth and a beer he came up with this new series of prints on the train back to Belin. It is the first work he has produced in his new studio in Berlin. With recent deaths of many rock and roll greats including David Bowie, George Marti and Lemmy Patrick Thomas also see these prints as a tribute to them.
