This is a new numbered giclee limited edition of a 1932 oil on canvas by Paul Nash. It was commissioned by Jack Beddington, publicity director for Shell and later used in their advertising, incorporating the words ‘Everywhere you Go You can be sure of Shell’. The work reflects Nash’s genius, in particular a graphic concision which organizes the main elements of the landscape, and his use of colour.
