Chile's Central Valley is the very hub of the country's wine production. Extending southwards from the capital Santiago, between the Andes and the Coastal Range of mountains, it is the home of many of the first vineyards to have been planted by European vignerons. Invitingly fruity, offering a juicy citrus and gooseberry backbone overlaid with notes of lime zest and fresh green apples. Crisp acidity provides maximum refreshment. Chill well and enjoy on its own or with simply fresh pasta dishes.
