Inspired by kids It was whilst watching my own kids choose books that I came up with the idea for the Tidybooks bookcase. Like most children, they pulled books out from a conventional shelf to look at the front covers, rather than choose them from the spines. And, of course, all of the books ended up in a messy pile on the floor! Keeps books tidy I can't promise that, but it will certainly help. The front panels help to keep books secure on the shelf while other books are being picked off the shelf. It will also encourage your kids to enjoy tidying their books after a big reading session, or even get them arranging books in order of size... if they are so inclined. Stylishly simple The bookcase is not only practical, but looks great too. You can order from a range of high quality finishes, from natural wood to painted white, pale rose or pure azure. The bookcase will perfectly complement your home, whether you have a more contemporary or traditional style. The product is Handmade with wood from sustainable sources. Environmentally responsible We think the bookcase will be a lasting investment in any home. It is robust, as you would expect from quality children's furniture. When your children get older, turn the alphabet fronted panels around to make a sleek looking rack, perfect for CDs or magazines. It is a lasting investment in the environment too the bookcase is entirely made from sustainable sources. A love of books I turned to the experts to prove a hunch that the Tidybooks bookcase helps to plant a love of books and reading in children. My design was applauded by language expert, Dr. Klaus Dieter Rossade of The Open University who said This quality piece of furniture is both a practical storage solution and a learning vehicle...giving words and images a firm place in your house, your children learn to appreciate the importance and fun of books. I couldn t have put it better myself. Dimensions H115 x W77 x D7cm
