This is a new numbered giclee limited edition of a 1979 lino cut print by Sybil Andrews. She beautifully captures the frenetic activity of the seagulls as they follow the plough looking for food in the newly turned soil. It also reflects the changes in framing, this 1970’s print has a tractor pulling the plough where as her 1930’s print Tillers of the Soil feature the horse drawn ploughs still in use at the time.
