Window blinds can play an important role in transforming the look and feel of a room. There are a number of practical reasons for choosing window blinds as well. These include:
- Blinds can help keep a room warm in winter as well as keeping a room cool in summer
- Privacy - blinds offer a way of offering privacy whilst not making a room too dark.
- Blinds tend to take up less room than curtains, so in a small room they can be ideal

Ideal for increasing privacy as by carfelully adjusting the angle you can prevent people outside from seeing much on the inside. However, by doing this you will still allow light in to the room |

The cheapest form of blind. They can be used as well as curtains as a way of reducing light and heat loss. |
| Venetian Blinds |
These are what most people think of when they think of blinds. The disavantage of these are that they can be dust trapps. However they are excellent at mainitaining privacy yet still allowing light to the room. |
Once you've finished decorating you can pick your favourite blind with there being many different types to choose from. Perhaps Venetian in the kitchen and a Roman in the bedroom? Rollers in the drawing room and Verticals in the dining room?
