Inspired by the great wines of the Mosel in Germany, John Forrest set about making a Kiwi version from his extensive vineyards in New Zealand's Marlborough region. The resulting wine which is naturally low in alcohol, was a perfect choice for the Adnams Selection range where we were hunting for wines that deliver all the flavour of the grape but with less of the usual attendant level of alcohol. On the palate aromas of citrus, apricots and spice. Lovely fruit sweetness balanced by fine acidity. Being naturally lower in alcohol ensures each mouthful is a refreshingly delicious experience. The perfect lunchtime wine.
