This piece develops ideas formed in Baldwin’s earlier series ‘The Road to Hell’ and is inspired by the legendary paintings of Hieronymus Bosch. Like the Early Netherlandish painter, Baldwin has employed detailed and fantastic imagery in his immense exploration of symbolism and narrative.
